Hewlett (co-founder of Hewlett-Packard Company) and his late wife, Flora Lamson Hewlett, is predicated on the belief that each individual has an obligation to go beyond the narrow confines of his or her personal interests and be mindful of the broader concerns of humanity. It supports public benefit organizations working throughout the world in education, health, arts and culture, the environment, global security, civic engagement, and the advancement of women. They have partnered with ecoAmerica on the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), Nature Rocks, America the Best, and have provided general funding for ecoAmerica. www.florafamily.org
